China, f*** yeah!

Military parades are characteristic of countries that have the words "democratic" and/or "people" in their names. The People's Republic of China is a good example. To celebrate the 60th birthday of the Communist revolution a huge parade was held today. About 200.000 members of the armed forces and civil servants marched through the streets of Beijing, in honour of Mao's victory over Chiang Kai-shek's Nationalists. By the way, kudo +1 for all the female personnel wearing skirts above the knee.
