Rebuilt WTC nears historic height

One World Trade Center, formerly known as the Freedom Tower, has quickly become a prominent fixture in the New York City skyline over the past few years.
In the coming days, as construction continues, it will overtake the Empire State Building in height. But it will be barely be half as tall as the world’s tallest.
